As we go through life, we all come face to face with trials, questions, and tough issues. In the midst of these questions, what do we do? Who or what do we turn to? The purpose of this study is to remind the participants that God does not leave them empty-handed with their questions. He offers us more than just the answers that we are looking for. God gives us what we truly need: namely, Himself.
This study is intended to take the participants through the book of Philippians as we consider what it means to be a friend in Christ. This is a ten session study that is designed for young adults/campus ministries.
Resilient youth remain humbly confident in their faith in the face of joys, crisis and transition. This study helps youth to dig into what humble confidence looks like for Baptized children of God as they walk through life.
The theme "I Am An Echo" plays off one of the daily themes from the 2016 Youth Gathering. We are the echos of Jesus Christ, sharing His Gospel in what we say and do. These devotions (along with the Bible studies with this same theme) are designed to help young people focus on the source of their faith and to consider how in living out their faith they are an echo of Jesus. In our vocations and service, God is at work helping us to echo love, mercy, and joy to others.
