Webinar: Spiritual Disciplines: Living a Life of Faith

by Rev. Brian Weaver

Pastor Brian Weaver leads a conversation on how the practice of spiritual disciplines impacts the lives of the people of God and how they shape and strengthen our faith through the work of God’s Spirit and His Word.

This one-hour webinar will:

(1) Highlight three of the most common spiritual disciplines: meditation, confession and fasting,

(2) Outline a Lutheran understanding of them,

(3) Provide helpful tools for the practice of these disciplines, and

(4) Give insight towards how they might be used in your ministry with youth.

About the author

Brian currently serves as Pastor of Family Life at Concordia in Conover, NC. It brings him great joy to see Christ working through the members of a family as they grow together and serve Him and His people, experiencing forgiveness and joy together, and helping other families do the same. He enjoys being outdoors, hiking, gardening, walking with his family, or sitting on their garden swing. There's always plenty to do in Christ's Kingdom, but its also fun to just sit back and try to take it all in.
